  1. Since it would be unprofessional of me to offer a hug, I can give you this, instead:
  2. Hey, hey, hey.... I thought that was my job, Princess!
  3. Best bargain found all week! US$3/hour is slightly better than Zuck's usual US$1MM+/hour rate. Source: https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~01cddb48b539529e80
  4. Yeah, if I knew how. :-( I don't even know where to find the iPad's basic file system. {sigh} That was in 2012, so I was 47.
  5. Sorry for the delay. I've been traveling on business for far more than I would prefer lately. Thank you, but video is the part that is already working for me. Ah!! Thank you!! (Why didn't I think of Evernote!?) That will probably do it for me. The only issue I can think of is the security side; I would want to be able to permit specific others (e.g., assistant) to listen to this particular stream on-the-fly without giving them access to my entire Evernote data-set, but I suppose I could simply set up a separate Evernote account (and email address) just
  6. I really don't want to complain, but... I used to be able to reply to multiple portions of a quote by copy/pasting it two or more times, and then deleting the unwanted parts of each so that I could "thread" a conversation. Same with multiquote. Very kludgy, but it at least worked. Now copy/pastes seem to work even less correctly than they used to, and it takes a very long time to make what should otherwise be a 30-second reply. Plus, it seems like the Preview button disappeared; that was very helpful to be able to see how a post would really look before it was posted, especially g
  7. Right now, I'm able to take pictures (or video) on an iPad Mini, and, (given sufficient wifi), they just automatically upload to https://www.icloud.com/#photos . I would like to be able to record a few seconds or minutes of audio, (just my verbal notes, nothing high quality), and have something very similar occur. I want to be able to (securely) access the notes from a regular web browser on my PC or elsewhere, and not have to install iCloud on my PC, or "upgrade my account to iCloud Drive", or anything else. At this point, I'm almost tempted to just shoot videos of my foot while I
  8. This is still an active pursuit. Coming up in the next few weeks are Washington and Massachusetts. Please let me know if you are interested, anywhere in the US. Thank you.
  9. Speaking of spoilers, I was going to be cute and reproduce its cover here. Then I googled it and found that Amazon put a major spoiler right in the basic book description!
  10. I hate to say this, but my bet is on each service doing its own filtering. I actually have the same issue with one of my Gmail accounts that forwards email to another, where I have to check two Spam folders.
  11. In Firefox, you can right-click on your page, then Inspect Element > Network, and see exactly what is being requested. Other browsers may have a similar feature.
  12. Nothing wrong with upgrading software, but email delivery issues typically occur upstream. That's why I had mentioned SPF, DKIM, etc., so as to encourage external parties to better prioritize your outbound mail. Side note: I had tried to demonstrate to one particularly clueless client that their outbound mail was scoring 0.5 out of 10 (!) from the above-mentioned Mail-Tester.com. They insisted that they never had a problem, and that if recipients ever had trouble reading a PDF attachment, they would simply call to get a fax instead. My response (about them never getting the email in the
  13. Oh, I agree, Terra. I'm just seeking a viable business model. Does anyone think that people would pay a low monthly fee for the right to send and receive physical letters? I know various prison penpal programs exist, but I have to wonder if they make any money.
