ShayB
As part of my January 30 Day Challenge, I started using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system (Insightly). I had to admit that my old school way simply wasn't cutting it. If you go to a networking event and meet 30+ people (many of them new), then you need a way to keep track of everything. Honestly, after using the system for a couple of weeks, I truly think that I'd be miles ahead of where I am now if I'd been using one sooner. It keeps track of contacts, but it also keeps track of all of the times you've kept in touch, important files (like Letters of Agreement, Invoices, etc.), and you can add notes. If you have a VA, they can use it, too. And that brings me to my next point: it really helps me see where I could hire a VA. I think that is going to be a next step for me. Anyone else use a CRM? Terra
I never have Shay, but in your description of what one is, I wish I would have at times. Although I have a knack at being very organized, I don't think it could compare to a CRM. I'm also thinking it would be worth checking out once the new partnership gets rolling. ShayB
I'm very organized when it comes to my biz, and so that's why I put it off for so long. Holy cats, it's blown me away. And if you have a partnership, I think it's a must-have. Edited February 1, 2017 by ShayB my brain, she is tired, yes Terra
HeySal
I got one (Hubspot) but I haven't needed it yet. I just downloaded it because I'll need it before too long. Glad to have found it. I don't care what everyone thinks about Excel - it's not that "all that" for organizing everything, ShayB
