Stumbleupon Paid Discovery - Opinions Are Very Divided

Recommended Posts

I just read some case studies on Stumbleupon paid advertising:

Here someone that spend slightly over a 100 dollars and received 60k+ visitors in the long run:

Someone else spend about 70 dollar and only received the direct traffic and zero repeat traffic, it dried up sa soon as he paused his campaign:

What do you think is going on here? 59k return visitors vs 0

SEOPress WordPress SEO plugin

After reading some more case studies it seems that StumbleUpon is to be best used on infographics, videos with viral potential, humoristic things and (funny/exciting) images.

So, time to produce some infographics before getting started.

That first link only had a 0.33% optin rate (200 emails) & 0.14% conversion rate for sales. At that rate I think the author needs a product priced higher than $4.31 ($366 / 85 sales), at least something priced around $20 (at the very least).
